This beautiful fabric is immensely pliable and drapey. Made entirely of a patented sustainable fibre, Tencel™, this fabric has the quality of luxurious silk and the handle and ease of sewing cotton, making it a particularly beautiful addition.
The lustre is subtle, with one side slightly less shiny than the other. It has a light, “barely there” feeling, which lends itself well to blouses, lingerie, sleepwear, lined dresses and floaty skirts, gowns and evening wear, and accessories like shawls and scarves. It’s lightweight enough to be suitable as a lining fabric for jackets and coats. For homewares, it would make for ethereal curtains and blinds and is comfortable and cooling on the skin, so ideal for bedding.
